How to register for IELTS exams

Step one:

The fee for the test is 320 BGN (Three hundred and five Bulgarian leva) Pay the fee by bank transfer or in cash at British Council Sofia.

Step two:

Complete the Application Forms in person, OR send a person with a notarised written agreement and a copy of your ID card or valid passport. You need:

• the addresses of the institutions requesting your test results
• two recent photographs with your signature on the reverse side
• a passport/ID card
• and a receipt for paid test fee or a copy of your bank transfer document

Alternatively, you can register by post (preferably registered mail or courier) by sending the completed application form to the British Council, two passport-size photos with your signature on their backs, a clear copy of your ID or valid passport and bank statement for the transfer of the fee.
